Al Worden Owned and Worn NASA Apollo 15 Signed Training Flight Suit Originally from His Personal Collection, with Novaspace Certificate of Authenticity. A standard issue NASA flight suit from the 1960s era with a neck tag from Kings Point Mfg. Co. of Fayetteville, North Carolina with an "Alfred M. Worden" tag below. The suit features multiple zippers and pockets. It bears the following patches: Apollo 15 (right chest); AL WORDEN Pilot's Wings leather name patch (left chest); and NASA "Meatball" (right upper sleeve). It is boldly signed in black felt tip on the left chest: "Apollo 15/ Al Worden/ Command Module Pilot". A highly-provenanced piece perfect for display.
The Novaspace Certificate of Authenticity reads, in full:
"This mustard-colored flight jumpsuit, made by Kings Point Mfg. Co. and worn by command module pilot Al Worden while preparing for his Apollo 15 mission, has NASA "meatball" patch on right shoulder, Apollo 15 mission patch on right chest, Velcro pilot's wings on left chest, and "Alfred M. Worden" cloth name tag sewn below manufacturer's label. From Al Worden's personal collection.
"Al Worden's signature on this flight jumpsuit is certified authentic, and guaranteed to have been signed personally by him above in Tucson in 2019."
